- Improvement of pre-work and work skills (9 projects).
- Improvement of digital skills.
The participants had an average age of 40 years. The largest group was those between 25 and 40 years old, followed by those between 40 and 50 years old.
94% of the participating people improved their employability
All workshops were developed in person, through a participatory and flexible methodology, adapted to the pace and needs of each group. The training combined theoretical content, practical activities and individualized tutoring, which favored applied learning and personalized support. The entities also guaranteed accessibility to the necessary resources, providing electronic devices and internet connection when necessary, as well as individualized support to respond to the needs of each participant. In total, they were taught 1,758 hours of trainingdistributed in:
- 553.5 hours of theoretical training.
- 631 hours of practical training.
- 573.5 hours of individual tutoring.
According to the evaluations carried out by the participating entities at the end of the workshops, 94% of the participants improved their skills and abilities for employmentwhich meant a reinforcement of their employability. Along with the acquisition of professional skills, they noted an improvement in the personal motivation and self-esteem of the participants, as well as a greater focus on developing their own life project. The participating entities identified various obstacles that hinder labor insertion of people with mental health problems. Among them:
- The stigma.
- The lack of positions adapted to the needs of the person.
- Fewer job opportunities and offers in rural areas.
- The need to carry out longer and more specific training that compensates for the special vulnerability of people with mental health problems.
A consolidated and highly valued call
The call has been highly valued, both by the beneficiaries and by the executing entities, since a average rating of 4.7 out of 5. According to these assessments, the planned objectives were considered achieved and the positive impact of the projects on the development of personal, social and work skills of the participants was highlighted. Likewise, they highlight the importance of continuing this line of financing, especially in rural environments, where opportunities for training and job placement are more limited. Among the challenges for the future, they point out the need to continue promoting the participation of women in employment programs and reinforce the gender perspective in all actions.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=»1/4″][vc_btn title=»VOLVER A NOTICIAS» style=»gradient-custom» gradient_custom_color_1=»#ffffff» gradient_custom_color_2=»#ffffff» gradient_text_color=»#005b50″ shape=»square» align=»center» i_icon_fontawesome=»fa fa-chevron-circle-left» add_icon=»true» link=»url:%2Fnoticias%2F|title:NOTICIAS||»][/vc_column][vc_column width=»1/4″][/vc_column][vc_column width=»1/4″][/vc_column][vc_column width=»1/4″][/vc_column][/vc_row]

More than 230 people with mental health problems improved their skills thanks to the Employability Strategy of SALUD MENTAL ESPAÑA
The fourth call for the Employability Strategy of SALUD MENTAL ESPAÑA of this initiative has developed 22 projects in ten autonomous communities. 94% of the participants have improved their skills for employment and 8% have found a job.
Promoting the skills necessary to access, maintain or improve a job is the main objective of the Call 2025-2026 for the Employability Strategy of the Confederation MENTAL HEALTH SPAIN. In its fourth edition, developed between January 1 and March 31, 2026, a total of 232 people with mental health problems participate in the training workshops promoted by this initiative, thus improving their job placement opportunities.
The number of participants represents an increase of 3.5% compared to the previous call. Of the total, the 44% were women and 56% men, a fact that highlights the need to continue strengthening the gender perspective in this area, taking into account that women with mental health problems face a situation of greater vulnerability and inequality of opportunities derived from the structurally present gender bias.
Twenty-two projects in ten autonomous communities
The call for funding 22 projects, selected among the 36 proposals presented, developed by entities of the associative movement SALUD MENTAL ESPAÑA of ten autonomous communities: Andalusia (4), Aragon (1),
