Desde un enfoque basado en los derechos humanos y en la intersección entre género y discapacidad, los capítulos del libro abordan cuestiones como la prevención y protección, la detección, investigación y enjuiciamiento, rehabilitación, recuperación y reintegración social de las víctimas y retos de futuro a través de las lecciones aprendidas. HOW TO FIGHT VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS WITH DISABILITIES
EXCHANGE OF GOOD PRACTICES AND LESSONS LEARNED.
This collective work, written by experts in the rights of women with disabilities, addresses the structural reality of sexist violence against women and girls with disabilities. From an approach based on human rights and the intersection between gender and disability, the chapters of the book address issues such as prevention and protection, detection, investigation and prosecution, rehabilitation, recovery and social reintegration of victims and future challenges through the lessons learned. The document emphasizes that the eradication of this violence requires a commitment between institutions and civil society, as well as the active incorporation of women and girls with disabilities in decision-making.
