This helps to avoid hierarchies and to address mental health from a perspective that considers the complexity of individual experiences.
- Non-binary language: The guide provides guidelines for using indirect non-binary language, avoiding gender hierarchy and using gender-neutral terms where possible. This includes using gender-neutral words where possible.
- Visual and content update: A specific section on the use of images has been added to avoid stereotypes and promote a diverse and positive representation of mental health. In addition, the guide presents the new corporate image that reinforces the key messages of Salut Mental Catalunya’s communication.
