Bajo el título 'Que la música te acompañe', la iniciativa consistirá en que el festival donará, entre el 1 y el 7 de abril, el 5% de las ventas de sus entradas y abonos a la asociación, que este año celebra el 34º aniversario de la creación de su fundación. Además, donará 0,5 euros de todos y cada uno de los miles de vasos reutilizables que se venderán durante los conciertos, contribuyendo así a dos de los grandes compromisos de Sonórica: la sostenibilidad y las campañas de acción solidaria.
Al igual que ocurrió en la edición del año pasado, todos los invitados al Festival podrán participar de una manera activa en la acción solidaria pro salud mental, intercambiando su invitación por un donativo mínimo de 5 euros a la hora de recogerla.
La acción solidaria se completará con la campaña de comunicación que Sonórica llevará a cabo a favor de ASCASAM con el fin de sensibilizar a su público acerca de la importancia de la salud mental en el mundo de hoy en día, además de poner en valor la labor que esta asociación desarrolla desde hace 34 años.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Así lo han explicado la consejera de Cultura, Turismo y Deporte, Eva Guillermina Fernández; el director de Sonórica, Ernesto Castañeda, y el presidente de ASCASAM, Ignacio Fernández Allende, durante la presentación de esta iniciativa solidaria en la que colabora el Gobierno de Cantabria, a través de las consejerías de Cultura, Turismo y Deporte y de Inclusión Social, Juventud, Familias e Igualdad.
Durante su intervención, Fernández ha destacado la importancia de esta iniciativa por el apoyo económico directo que se presta a través de la recaudación de fondos de "una de las citas musicales imprescindibles del verano que sigue consolidándose cada año" y por su capacidad para sensibilizar a la sociedad sobre la salud mental, "una realidad a la que no podemos dar la espalda".
Asimismo, ha subrayado la "increíble labor" que desempeña ASCASAM, durante más de tres décadas, a la hora de ofrecer apoyo y comprensión a todas las personas que se enfrentan al desafío de la salud mental. "Son un ejemplo de compromiso y esperanza para todos nosotros", ha remarcado Eva Guillermina Fernández.
"La cultura y la solidaridad van de la mano en el camino hacia una sociedad más justa, inclusiva y comprensiva", ha afirmado la consejera, quien ha aprovechado para animar a la ciudadanía a que participe en esta acción solidaria de especial relevancia que, en su opinión, "supone una iniciativa solidaria oportuna y meritoria".
Por su parte, el director del festival Sonórica, Ernesto Castañeda, ha confiado en estar "a la altura de las circunstancias" con esta iniciativa y lograr una gran recaudación para un proyecto que busca dar visibilidad a la labor de ASCASAM y a una realidad, la salud mental, "cada vez más visible en el mundo de la música, de la cultura y entre la juventud de hoy en día".

The Sonónica music festival will collaborate this year with ASCASAM with a solidarity initiative in favor of mental health
Under the title ‘May music accompanies you’, the event, which will feature artists of the caliber of Amaral, Melendi or Arde Bogotá, will allow you to donate part of the money raised from the sale of tickets, vouchers, glasses and invitations to the concerts, which will be held in Castro Urdiales on July 19 and 20, to the Cantabrian entity ASCASAM.

The music festival Sonoricwhich will be held on July 19 and 20 in Castro Urdiales (Cantabria), will collaborate in this year’s edition with the Cantabrian Association for Mental Health (ASCASAM) with a solidarity initiative in favor of improving the quality of life and the rights of people with mental health problems.
Under the title ‘May music accompanies you’, the initiative will consist of the festival donating, between April 1 and 7, 5% of the sales of its tickets and subscriptions to the association, which this year celebrates its 34th anniversary of the creation of its foundation. In addition, it will donate 0.5 euros from each and every one of the miles of reusable cups that will be sold during the concerts, thus contributing to two of Sonónica’s great commitments: sustainability and solidarity action campaigns.
As happened in last year’s edition, all guests of the Festival will be able to actively participate in the solidarity action for mental health, exchanging their invitation for a minimum donation of 5 euros at the time of collecting it.
The solidarity action will be completed with the communication campaign that Sonónica will carry out in favor of ASCASAM in order to raise awareness among its public about the importance of mental health in today’s world, in addition to valuing the hand working. that this association has been developing for 34 years.
This has been explained by the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports, Eva Guillermina Fernandez; the director of Sonónica, Ernesto Castanedaand the president of ASCASAM, Ignacio Fernández Allende.during the presentation of this solidarity initiative in which the Government of Cantabria collaborates, through the Ministries of Culture, Tourism and Sports and Social Inclusion, Youth, Families and Equality.

For his part, the director of the Sonónica festival, Ernesto Castañeda, has hoped to be «rise to the occasion» with this initiative and achieve a large amount of money for a project that seeks to give visibility to the work of ASCASAM and to a reality, mental health, «increasingly visible in the world of music, culture and among today’s youth».
Finally, the president of ASCASAM, Ignacio Fernández Allende, thanked the Government of Cantabria and the Festival organizers for launching a solidarity initiative that will contribute to normalizing mental health problems in society and help the association to continue providing its services. services to people who have this type of problems, which in the case of Cantabria was 1,213 people with mental health problems last year, in addition to providing support to their families and loved ones.
