    [post_content] => [vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]La iniciativa se centra en estimular la participación de la población andaluza en las asociaciones de salud mental de la red de la Federación Salud Mental Andalucía, promoviendo la realización de actividades destinadas a mejorar la calidad de vida de quienes enfrentan problemas de salud mental. El objetivo primordial es fomentar la autonomía y la vida independiente de estas personas.

Esta iniciativa está financiada por la Consejería de Inclusión Social, Familias, Juventud e Igualdad de la Junta de Andalucía.

La campaña del año anterior congregó a entidades de toda la red de Andalucía, consolidando el voluntariado como un elemento de crecimiento, tanto profesional como personal. El informe resultante resaltó la contribución significativa del voluntariado a la prevención de la exclusión social y la discriminación de las personas con discapacidad por razones de problemas de salud mental.
Objetivos de la Campaña 2024:

  • Raise awareness about the importance of volunteering in mental health.
  • Combat stigma and discrimination associated with mental health problems.
  • Encourage active participation in activities to promote autonomy.

Mental Health Andalusia launches “Change your Time for Smiles” to promote volunteering in mental health

The Andalusian Mental Health Federation, in collaboration with mental health entities, launches the “Change your Time for Smiles” Campaign to promote volunteering in mental health in Andalusia.

The initiative focuses on stimulating the participation of the Andalusian population in the mental health associations of the network of the Andalusia Mental Health Federation, promoting the carrying out of activities aimed at improving the quality of life of those facing mental health problems. The primary objective is to promote the autonomy and independent life of these people.

This initiative is financed by the Department of Social Inclusion, Families, Youth and Equality of the Government of Andalusia.

The previous year’s campaign brought together entities from the entire Andalusian network, consolidating volunteering as an element of growth, both professional and personal. The resulting report highlighted the significant contribution of volunteering to the prevention of social exclusion and discrimination of people with disabilities due to mental health problems.
