Salud Mental Madrid lanza la campaña #RegalaSaludMental

Su objetivo es sumar gente a la causa estas Navidades y seguir contribuyendo al bienestar de las personas con problemas de salud mental. "Cualquier ayuda, por pequeña que parezca es necesaria. El importe dependerá únicamente de lo que puedas y quieras donar", indican desde la federación.

La donación se destinará a las diferentes actividades y proyectos que la entidad tiene en marcha, entre los cuales se encuentran:

• Defense Office: an independent and impartial office available to people with mental health problems whose rights have been violated.
• Information and Guidance Service: the entity offers quality care and information in relation to mental health problems, to affected people and their families, professionals, entities in the sector and to society as a whole. They also organize conferences, cycles and similar events for the study, dissemination and training of all issues that affect the mental health of citizens.

• Leisure Project LET’S MEET?: The Madrid federation organizes cultural, leisure and excursions to achieve, through free time, an improvement in the quality of life, social adaptation and symptomatology of people with mental health problems.

The Madrid Mental Health Federation is a non-profit entity, covered by Law 49/2002, of December 23, on the tax regime for non-profit entities and tax incentives for patronage, which after the reform that includes the Royal Decree-Law 17/2020, of May 5, allows the following scale of deductions for donations made by taxpayers of the Personal Income Tax:

• First €150: 80%.
• Rest: 35%.
• Multi-year donations to the same entity, for at least 3 years >€150: 40%.
• Deduction limit on the taxable base: 10%.

• In the last 6 years the population of the Community of Madrid has increased by 4.4%; people with disabilities have done so in a 20.7%.

• In the Community of Madrid 78,297 people have a disability associated with mental health problems (19.3% of the total number of people with disabilities).

• In 2022, suicide increased by 7.2% compared to the previous year in the Community of Madrid.

• It is estimated that, each year, at least a few 650 people will have a first psychotic episode in the Community of Madrid, of which some 250 will be less than 18 years.

• Our current system of life is going to produce that, in 2030 worldwide, the first cause of disability be it due to mental health problems.

• The WHO prevents 1 in 4 people will have a mental health problem throughout his life.
