Ingredients

SPICY JALAPENO POPPER CHEDDAR CHEESE BALL

  • 16 oz low-fat cream cheese (2 packages), room temperature
  • ¼ cup sour cream, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 Quest Spicy Cheese Crackerscrushed
  • 1 cup cheddar jack cheese, grated
  • 6 strips of bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 2 jalapeños, finely chopped
  • 1 green onion, chopped

Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, spices, half the biscuits, half the cheddar cheese, ¾ of the bacon, and ¾ of the jalapeños.
  2. Add the mixture to a large piece of plastic wrap, lift up the sides and cover well, forming into a ball. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  3. Combine remaining cheese crackers, cheddar cheese, bacon, jalapenos, and green onion in a shallow bowl, cover, and chill.
  4. Once the cheese ball is cool, unwrap it and roll it in the cracker-cheese mixture, covering it completely.
  5. Serve with your favorite vegetables and serve.
