The main objective of These Green Employment actions are to provide students with the technical competencies and social skills necessary to function successfully in the forestry, agricultural and gardening fields.. This year the project has been implemented in two provinces, León and Soria. Thus, with the coordination of our entity. ASOVICA Mental Health Soria training has been developed «Organic Horticulture» with 130 hours of duration, of which 80 hours have been of theoretical-practical training and 50 hours of training practices in the company Oasis Berber. A group of 10 people participated in it. who have acquired knowledge in sustainable cultivation techniques, respect for local biodiversity and management of natural resources. The theoretical classes have been developed intensively in order to give way to the practical phase in business environments in the province of Soria, concluding their classroom phase in mid-July.
For its part, since Mental Health Leon They have launched training «Caretakers of Green Spaces» with 150 hours of duration, of which 120 hours have been of theoretical-practical training and 30 hours of training practices at the León City Council. hours long. With a total of 13 people participatingThis training action has been focused on the maintenance and conservation of the urban and natural landscape. The training has been extended during the months of June and July, opening the door for the student to carry out real internships that facilitate their subsequent hiring.
