El resultado es una pieza colectiva que reivindica la salud mental desde el paradigma de ciudadanía y derechos, situando el malestar en su contexto social y político.
Durante ocho sesiones conducidas por Versembrant, y con el apoyo del Espai Jove Palau Alòs, el taller ha acontecido un espacio de creación cultural y participación comunitaria a través del rap. Arraigo territorial y proceso comunitario
El proyecto se ha desarrollado en el Espai Jove Palau Alòs, equipación municipal juvenil de Ciutat Vella. El centro está pensado para proporcionar a la juventud programas culturales, información, asesoramiento y espacios de asociacionismo, promoviendo la cohesión social.
La ubicación no es casual. Ciutat Vella es un distrito atravesado por múltiplos sesgos de desigualdad —origen, clase social, procesos migratorios, precariedad residencial— que impactan directamente en las trayectorias vitales de muchos jóvenes. En este contexto, MADRAP ha partido de un paradigma de proceso comunitario: no como escenario, sino como condición indispensable del proyecto.
La propuesta se ha construido desde la sinergia, el trabajo en equipo y el compromiso compartido entre entidades, equipaciones y participantes. Rap, ciudadanía y derechos
MADRAP nace con la voluntad de politizar el malestar y reconquistar espacios de expresión y participación. El proyecto parte de la idea que la participación en la comunidad y en ocupaciones significativas no es un complemento, sino un elemento central en los proyectos de vida.
La música urbana ha sido el medio, pero el foco ha sido la producción cultural colectiva, la presa de palabra y la incidencia simbólica. Cómo en toda actividad grupal con motivación intrínseca, el proceso ha generado cohesión y apoyo mutuo; sin embargo, estos efectos no han sido el objetivo, sino consecuencias naturales de un espacio de creación compartida.
Hay que destacar especialmente la predisposición y el posicionamiento del equipo de Versembrant: su “cómo” —basado en el respeto, la horizontalidad y la convicción en el potencial político de la cultura— ha estado clave en el desarrollo del proceso.
Un primer paso con voluntad de continuidad
Esta primera edición se ha llevado a cabo en la ciudad de Barcelona, con el apoyo del Ajuntament de Barcelona, pero Salut Mental Catalunya y la Cooperativa Aixec tienen la voluntad y la persistencia de ampliar el proyecto en otros territorios. “Realidad”, the rap collective promoted by Salut Mental Catalunya and Cooperativa Aixec that puts mental health at the center
The first edition of the MADRAP project has promoted the creation of this musical piece from the paradigm of citizenship and rights, placing the unrest in its social and political context.

Rap, citizenship and rights
MADRAP was born with the desire to politicize unrest and reconquer spaces for expression and participation. The project is based on the idea that participation in the community and in meaningful occupations It is not a complement, but a central element in life projects.
