MEDIA GUIDE FOR USE OF LANGUAGE THAT RESPECTS THE MENTAL HEALTH OF MOTHERS IN THE STAGE OF PREGNANCY AND THE POST-PARTUM.

This guide aims to serve as support for communication professionals when addressing and preparing news related to the mental health of mothers in the pregnancy and postpartum stage and thus avoid the stigma and sensationalism that sometimes occurs in the publication of news, articles and information on these topics. They include aspects such as those related to the publication of first-person testimonies, the approach, recommendations and even places where the reports and interviews take place, as well as the assembly of the pieces so that the reality expressed by the woman interviewed is respected.
