• CAPACITA AXIS, which included topics on Talent Management in Digital Environments.
  • AXIS SPREADS QUALITY, which presented the main quality models, standards and references that NGOs can implement (ISO, NGO Quality Standard, EFQM…) and a tool to improve prevention projects (European Quality Standards).

The Confederation promotes the modernization and transformation of its associative movement

In 2026, SALUD MENTAL ESPAÑA creates new spaces for collaboration between the entities of the associative network. Among them, the launch of a learning community for the SinergiaCRM tool stands out.

The Confederation’s commitment to improvement, innovation and strengthening of the associative movement of SALUD MENTAL ESPAÑA will materialize in 2026 in the creation and continuity of several collaborative spaces.

Among the planned initiatives, the creation of a learning community aimed at SinergiaCRM user entitiesa management tool aimed at non-profit organizations, which supports efficient management. This space, promoted in collaboration with ICT SynergyIts purpose is to promote the exchange of resources and good practices between participating entities, in order to optimize the use of the tool.

They are currently part of this group. 4 federations and 15 associations from six different territories (Catalonia, Valencian Community, Canary Islands, Andalusia, Murcia and Castilla-La Mancha).

In the words of Jorge Pelegrin, of Organizational Development and Quality of the Confederation and representative on the Board of Directors of SinergiaTIC“The creation of a learning community on the use of SinergiaCRM is key to strengthening collaborative management and optimizing processes in our entities.”

As Pelegrín explains, “this initiative encourages innovation, transparency and the exchange of good practices, aligning directly with the strategic line focused on Services and Innovation, specifically in projects that seek to define a knowledge management strategy, the promotion of the digital transformation of entities and the improvement of the quality of the data of the SALUD MENTAL ESPAÑA network.”

Quality training

Another initiative that is being implemented is the Gestiona-T Program: Advice to implement a quality certificate, with financing from the National Plan on Drugs, developed in collaboration with the Develop Foundation. Several entities of the associative movement currently participate in it (Feafes Almería Mental Health El Timón, Canary Islands Mental Health Federation, Afesur Mental Health Association and Madrid East Mental Health Association -Asme-).

This is a free program, developed annually since 2013 by the Grupo Develop Foundation, aimed at NGOs and non-profit entities that work in the field of addictions. Its objective is to train participating organizations to implement a quality system through process management, and certify it, as well as design a strategic plan and formulate, manage, evaluate and justify projects. Practical seminars are also held, where aspects addressed in the workshops are worked on in a more theoretical way. In the previous call for Gestiona-T Program 2024-2025participates in a total of seven entities (AFESur Mental Health Association, Zamora Mental Health Association, El Cribo Mental Health Association, Canary Islands Mental Health Federation, APHENE Mental Health, AGRAFEM Mental Health Granada and ASOMASAMEN).

Finally, it is worth highlighting the collaboration that was developed during 2025 with the ICONG. In it, members of various entities of the associative movement (AFAEMO, ADVANCE, Apafem, AFAENPAL, LIVE, LOVE, AFAEPS, Castilla-La Mancha Mental Health Federation, APAFES, SUNRISE, asenes and AEMIS) participated in its quality training program called trinomial. This project was aimed at professionals (paid and/or volunteers) who work in socio-health entities in the third sector of Spain, and is free thanks to funding from the National Plan on Drugs. It contemplated three axes of activity:

  • TRANSFORMA AXIS, which addressed content on Theory of Change, Innovation in NGOs and Impact Evaluation.

The Confederation reflected on this type of collaboration with relevant entities inside and outside the third sector on issues related to the modernization and digital transformation of entities in its “Alliance Diagnosis” Project. What these collaborations allow is to develop the work of strengthening SALUD MENTAL ESPAÑA regarding the cohesion of the associative movement around the three axes through which, as a third-level entity, its activity is structured: representativeness, the coordination of activities and the exchange and generation of knowledge.

TheSPAIN MENTAL HEALTH Confederationdevelops, with financing from the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030, the “Promotion of Digital Transformation” and “Promotion and improvement of quality in comprehensive management” programs for entities caring for people with mental health problems.
