SALUD MENTAL Y TRABAJO
LA IMPORTANCIA DE LA SALUD MENTAL EN EL ENTORNO LABORAL.
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=""]Este documento hace un análisis de la situación de la salud mental en los entornos laborales en España a través de los datos de bajas laborales por problemas de salud mental y atendiendo a circunstancias concretas como la depresión, ansiedad, estrés laboral, el acoso y la violencia en el trabajo y prevención del suicidio en estos entornos. El informe ahonda también en la problemática de la precariedad laboral como condicionante de la salud mental de las personas trabajadoras en cuestiones como la inseguridad laboral, la temporalidad, las largas jornadas laborales y las condiciones laborales (tiempo, sobrecarga, intensidad del trabajo y trato difícil con clientes). También incluye información sobre las implicaciones del cambio climático en la salud mental de las personas trabajadoras, la influencia del teletrabajo y la digitalización y las adicciones. Además, se analizan los datos encuesta ESENER 2024, realizada en empresas de la Unión Europea sobre la importancia de la gestión preventiva de los riesgos laborales para evitar problemas de salud mental, así como la falta de reconocimiento del origen profesional de los problemas de salud relacionados con los riesgos psicosociales de origen laboral y los costes de una salud mental negativa para las empresas y los Estados. MENTAL HEALTH AND WORK
THE IMPORTANCE OF MENTAL HEALTH IN THE WORK ENVIRONMENT.
This document analyzes the mental health situation in work environments in Spain through data on sick leave due to mental health problems and taking into account specific circumstances such as depression, anxiety, work stress, harassment and violence at work and suicide prevention in these environments. The report also delves into the problem of job insecurity as a condition of the mental health of workers in issues such as job insecurity, temporality, long working hours and working conditions (time, overload, work intensity and difficult treatment with clients). It also includes information on the implications of climate change on the mental health of working people, the influence of teleworking and digitalization, and addictions. In addition, data from the ESENER 2024 survey, carried out in companies in the European Union, are analyzed on the importance of preventive management of occupational risks to avoid mental health problems, as well as the lack of recognition of the professional origin of health problems related to psychosocial risks of occupational origin and the costs of negative mental health for companies and States. The document ends with a series of union proposals for the protection of mental health at work.
