
The II Solidarity Run and March of the National Hospital for Paraplegics (HNP) will be held on November 30 in Toledo with the aim of giving visibility to spinal cord injuries and raising funds for the integration and research projects carried out at the center.
The second edition of the HNP Solidarity Run and March will depart at 10:30 a.m. from the hospital gardens, where the finish line will also be located.
The test will be carried out in several modalities in both the female and male categories: Absolute, with a distance of 7 kilometers, which includes the categories of General, Senior, Veteran, Workers and Retirees of the hospital; and the special ‘Handbike’ category.
As explained by the center in a statement, the four-kilometer Solidarity March will not have a competitive nature. At the end of the test, several prizes will be raffled among the participating bibs and the first three people classified in each category will be recognized.
Around the Race, the Complementary Rehabilitation service of the National Hospital for Paraplegics will also organize various recreational activities for the little ones and sports demonstrations, which will be run by the Supera Water Center in Toledo.
“This race is an example of inclusion and integration, in which the protagonist is sport as a tool that helps add life to our lives,” explained the general director of Planning, Planning and Health Inspection and Pharmacy of Castilla-La Mancha, Carmen Encinas.

Registrations can now be made on the website ‘deporchip.com’ and will be open until November 27. The fees set for the event are 12 euros for the race and 8 euros for the popular march. In addition, three ‘zero numbers’ of 5, 10 or 20 euros have been enabled for those who want to participate only with a financial contribution.
Regarding the route of the Absolute race, it will start in the gardens of the National Hospital for Paraplegics and will run along Carretera de La Peraleda, Avenida Mas Del Ribero, Avenida Carlos III, Paseo Merchán, Calle Real Arrabal, Calle Cardenal Tavera, Calle Marqués de Mendigorría, Avenida General Villalba, Calle Duque de Lerma, Avenida Barber and Carretera de La Peraleda to the National Hospital for Paraplegics, where the goal.
