The new issue of Encuentro Magazine addresses mental health care
No. 2 of 2025 of Encuentro Magazine, in its main report, addresses mental health care as a door to real inclusion. Among other content, the publication also addresses the issue of stigma and lack of accessibility in justice.
The second issue of 2025 of Encuentro Magazine, which has the support of Fundación ONCE and the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030, is now available on the SALUD MENTAL ESPAÑA website.
In this new edition, the main report addresses the importance of mental health care, both formal and informal, so that it represents a door to the real inclusion of the person. The article talks about stigma, overprotection, and the challenges of deinstitutionalization.
The section «Mental health up to date» includes the participation of SALUD MENTAL ESPAÑA in the V National Congress and II International Congress of Disability Law, held last May in Ciudad Real.
In the section of news about the confederationThe 10 years of the SALUD MENTAL ESPAÑA brand stand out, the #EmployWithoutBarreras campaign that the Confederation launched on the occasion of International Workers’ Day, the publication of the ‘Report on the state of Human Rights in Mental Health, 2024’, and the LGTBIQ+ campaign, which this year was focused on hate speech.
For its part, the section «Entities» describes the ‘Odiseo Project’ of AFESA Salud Mental Asturias, the Rompeolas project of the Castilla y León Mental Health Federation, and the ‘Hiring me is not crazy’ campaign, of the Canary Islands Mental Health Federation.
