This session will address the intersection between tourism and sustainable mobility in Barcelona, a city of contradictions that receives millions of visitors a year and that, at the same time, promotes pioneering policies in adaptation to climate change. The objective is to reflect on the limits of tourism that depends on polluting cruises and flights and rethink the transportation models of tourists and residents, promoting solutions that reduce the carbon footprint, take care of local life and the environment.
