Este grupo interdisciplinar lleva años promoviendo actividades culturales y creativas dirigidas a personas usuarias de la red de salud mental, como motor de inclusión, empoderamiento y transformación social.
La más reciente muestra de este compromiso ha sido la IV edición del taller literario 'Un océano en mí', coordinado por la escritora leonesa Nuria Viuda, que ha culminado recientemente con una emotiva lectura pública en la plaza Don Gutierre de León, convertida por un día en un 'ágora de emociones, historias y arte'.
Este taller, que forma parte del programa 'Carpe Diem', un taller de escritura que ha acompañado a una veintena de personas en un proceso de creación, guiado por lecturas de autoras como Ana María Matute, Carmen Martín Gaite o Julia Uceda. El taller, lejos de acotarse a una formación técnica, ha ofrecido un espacio seguro para la expresión personal y colectiva, donde la escritura ha servido como vía para liberarse de etiquetas, confrontar el estigma y fortalecer la autoestima.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=""]Cabe mencionar que la Red CreACCIÓN Mental no se limita al ámbito literario. A lo largo del año impulsa, además, iniciativas tan diversas como el certamen de relatos LiterariaMENTE, la exposición fotográfica 'Abre tu mirada', acciones escénicas como la obra 'Locas' de La Rue Teatro, y marchas como la celebrada el pasado octubre, con motivo del Día Mundial de la Salud Mental, en la que personas usuarias representaron sus trayectos vitales a través de un simbólico plano de metro, en colaboración con el MUSAC.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text css=""]

Actividades como estas no solo ofrecen una plataforma para el arte y la participación, sino que reclaman una ciudad más inclusiva y accesible, donde la salud mental se entienda como parte esencial de la salud colectiva y se rompan las barreras del aislamiento y la invisibilidad.
Fruto de este proceso creativo es también la edición del libro 'Un océano en mí', presentado en el Palacio del Conde Luna como inicio de las actividades del Día Mundial de la Salud Mental del pasado año. Este volumen recoge las vivencias, emociones y visiones de 19 participantes que han transformado sus experiencias personales en narraciones poderosas y emotivas.
Como expresó una de las participantes, “escribir es un desahogo, una forma simbólica de expresar cómo me siento”.
