El Comité Ejecutivo de la OPS inicia su 176ª sesión abordando temas clave para la salud en las Américas – OPS/OMS

Washington, DC, June 23, 2025 (PAHO) – The Executive Committee of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), one of the management bodies of the Institution, began today its 176th session in Washington, DC, with the aim of discussing more. Improve health in the region of the Americas.

Among the outstanding points of the Agenda are the strategic plan project of the PAHO 2026-2031, the Budget Project by Program 2026-2027, the politician to expand the equitive access to high-cost sanitary technologies, the Actomede Acioma Acioma Plan Actermea Aciomacia without Transmissible (understand) 2025-2030, and the health and strategy on health and strategy 2026-2031.

The OPS director closed his intervention reaffirming the OPS commitment to health equity. «Above all, Pan -Americanism reflects our unwavering commitment to health equity. We must be tireless in our search for universal health coverage, to ensure that each person, family and community in the Americas has an equitable opportunity to live a healthy life,» he concluded.

The Executive Committee is composed of representatives of new Member States, with three -year staggered mandates. Realme is made up of Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, the United States, Guyana and Uruguay.
