El pasado lunes 16 de junio, el medio otorgó este reconocimiento por la “apuesta por el arte que hace la institución como herramienta para sensibilizar y concienciar sobre salud mental”.María Sánchez, miembro de la Junta Directiva de la Federación Salud Mental de Madrid, fue la encargada de representar a la federación y de recoger el premio. Además de mostrar su agradecimiento a los organizadores del evento, Sánchez señaló: “Este premio nos va a ayudar a seguir luchando por la salud mental, es muy importante. Hay mucha necesidad de medios y de lucha en la salud mental”.Este reconocimiento además pone en valor la trayectoria y compromiso de Salud Mental Madrid y el trabajo que desarrolla en coordinación con la sanidad autonómica. El premio fue entregado por Mercedes Navío Acosta, Gerente Asistencial de Hospitales del Servicio Madrileño de Salud, y Óscar López Alba, Director de Redacción Médica, en un emotivo momento que reafirma la relevancia de las asociaciones de pacientes en el sistema sanitario.Salud Mental Madrid agrupa a 16 asociaciones de personas con problemas de salud mental y sus familias que ofrecen soporte, atención y desarrollan sus programas en el ámbito de la Comunidad de Madrid. La federación madrileña lleva desde el año 2013 trabajando por defender los derechos de las personas con problemas de salud mental y sus familias y mejorar su calidad de vida.Los V Premios Redacción Médica a la Comunidad de Madrid reconocieron a través de un total de 13 categorías a las distintas personas e instituciones implicadas en un mejor funcionamiento de la sanidad en la región madrileña. The Madrid Mental Health Federation in the ‘V Awards Medical Drafting to the Community of Madrid’
