Las asociaciones de salud mental de Murcia muestran su arte en el XII Certamen de Cortos

La XII edición del Certamen de Cortos de la Federación Salud Mental Región de Murcia se ha celebrado, el 11 de diciembre en la Filmoteca Regional Francisco Rabal, un acto en el que se han presentado diez cortos ideados y elaborados por personas con problemas de salud mental.

Entre las obras, que en este certamen abordan diversas temáticas, como la superación, el empleo y hasta tres cortometrajes de humor, se encuentran ‘Que alguien me escuche’, ‘A través de mis ojos’ o ‘Proyecto César’. Además, el director de cine Benito Rabal ha colaborado, un año más, en el cortometraje de la Asociación Salud Mental Águilas Afemac.

El objetivo de esta iniciativa es que las personas con problemas de salud mental participen en el guion, la actuación, la realización, el trabajo con cámaras, la dirección y la edición de cortos que sensibilicen a la sociedad sobre la realidad del movimiento asociativo de la salud mental, es decir, la fusión del séptimo arte con la salud mental. Unas 200 personas de todas las asociaciones, así como la presidenta de la Federación Salud Mental Región de Murcia, Pilar Morales, y la Junta Directiva de la Federación, han presenciado la celebración.

A este XII Certamen de Cortos asistió, además, la directora general de Personas con Discapacidad, Miriam Pérez; el director general de Atención a la Diversidad, Pedro Mondéjar; la concejala de Bienestar Social, Familia y Salud de Murcia, Pilar Torres, y la directora general de Atención Primaria del Servicio Murciano de Salud, Josefa Marín Hernández.

La jornada ha estado ilustrada con el cartel de Julia Martínez, de la Asociación Salud Mental Bajo Guadalentín Afemto, ganadora del concurso, previo a la celebración del certamen. En su ilustración se observa la silueta de una cabeza de la que salen ideas relacionadas con el mundo del cine como una claqueta, una cámara de rodaje, unas gafas 3D, unas máscaras de teatro y el logo del movimiento asociativo de la salud mental.

The mental health associations of Murcia show their art at the XII Short Film Contest

The event, organized by the Murcia Region Mental Health Federation, took place on December 11, at the Francisco Rabal Regional Film Archive. The proposal aims for people with mental health problems to participate in the script, acting, production, working with cameras, directing and editing short films that raise awareness in society about the reality of the associative movement.

The 12th edition of the Short Film Contest Murcia Region Mental Health Federation An event was held on December 11 at the Francisco Rabal Regional Film Library in which ten short films designed and produced by people with mental health problems were presented.

Among the works, which in this contest address various themes, such as self-improvement, employment and up to three humorous short films, are ‘Let someone listen to me’, ‘Through my eyes’ or ‘Proyecto César’. Furthermore, the film director Benito Rabal has collaborated, once again, on the short film of the Águilas Afemac Mental Health Association.

The objective of this initiative is for people with mental health problems to participate in the script, acting, production, working with cameras, directing and editing short films that raise awareness in society about the reality of the associative movement of the mental health, that is, the fusion of the seventh art with mental health. About 200 people from all associations, as well as the president of the Murcia Region Mental Health Federation, Pilar Moralesand the Board of Directors of the Federation, have witnessed the celebration.

This XII Short Film Contest was also attended by the general director of People with Disabilities, Miriam Perez; the general director of Attention to Diversity, Pedro Mondejar; the Councilor for Social Welfare, Family and Health of Murcia, Pilar Torresand the general director of Primary Care of the Murcian Health Service, Josefa Marin Hernandez.

The day has been illustrated with the poster of julia martinezof the Mental Health Association Bajo Guadalentín Afemtowinner of the contest, prior to the celebration of the contest. In his illustration you can see the silhouette of a head from which ideas related to the world of cinema emerge, such as a clapperboard, a filming camera, 3D glasses, theater masks and the logo of the mental health association movement.

This is the twelfth edition of the Short Film Contest of the Murcia Region Mental Health Federation.
