
The Servimedia news agency will hold a dialogue on Monday at 12 noon on the ‘AICP.COM Project‘ for a change in the care model for people in residences, communities and homes.

AICP.COM is a pilot project, promoted by the Pilares Foundation for personal autonomy and the Lares Association within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030 with Next Generation European funds, whose objective is the application of the Comprehensive and Person-Centered Care Model (AICP) in residences, homes and community settings.
With this project, innovative actions have been developed to encourage older people to remain in their homes and community environments, so that they can continue to fulfill their life projects with dignity and rights. In the residential field, work has been done to create, implement and validate a quality reference system with standards based on e.l AICP Model in order to move from the “institution” model to that of “open home” to the community, placing the person at the center of care. The progress of the project’s results is showing scientific evidence of its positive impact on older people, families and professionals.
