Whatever the cause of a sudden brain injury, the recovery process begins in the hospital. The moment of discharge from the hospital and return home, however, can be filled with uncertainty.
At this time, for people with ACD and their families, who continue this process beyond the hospital period, it is essential to know what is happening to them and where they can go.
Next Thursday, November 21, we celebrate the Masterclass titled “They discharge me. And, now, what?”taught by Sara Sagredo Garrido, Director of the Rioja Association of Acquired Brain Injury and Mónica Manzanares Jiménez and Pedro Marrero Alvite, association of neuropsychologists of the same.
Aimed at people with ACD and their familiesAlthough also useful for other professional profiles that are involved in your care, we address:
- Brief identification of the phases after brain injury.
- Needs detected in families and people with ABI in each phase
- Contribution of the association in each phase, intensity of the intervention
