he Amparo Poch Municipal Health Promotion Center (CMPS), belonging to the Zaragoza City Council, it is a municipal social and health resourceI, public and freewhose essential objective is to promote the health of the population of Zaragoza through individual, family, group and/or community interventions.

It has a multidisciplinary team of professionals from psychology, psychiatry, gynecology, medicine, family planning technicians, clinical assistants and administrative staff.

This resource is made up of the Young Health Zone (ZSJ) and the Specific Programs.


➡Attention Program: for young people between 15 and 25 years old, residents of Zaragoza. We address issues related to mental health and sexual health.

Mental Health Care:

Psychotherapy is offered for the treatment of personal, relational, family or social problems, with the aim of helping to alleviate the psychological discomfort of young people, trying to promote their maturation, seeking greater awareness about the scope and meaning of their situation and contributing . in the search for new styles to face their difficulties that are healthier for themselves and their environment.

Demands can be met individually, as a couple or through family interventions. We also have therapeutic groups.


The professional, clinical psychologist or psychiatrist, guides and proposes monitoring the situation and, where appropriate, offers the possibility of regular psychotherapy sessions in the medium or long term.

The objective of this space is to promote and care for the sexual and reproductive health of young people, through tasks of: health information, general information about sexuality, contraceptive methods, HIV/STI prevention through the promotion of healthy practices and safe practices and information regarding unplanned pregnancies.

Within this service we offer different modalities of care, through the reception space, youth consultation and sexological advice.

⇒In the reception space We offer initial attention and listening to doubts and concerns about the sexual and reproductive health care of young people.

⇒Regarding the sexological counseling, goes beyond the first reception. It is a space where we offer advice and sexual education on aspects such as: sexual relations, pleasure, expectations in relationships, pornography consumption or myths and stereotypes about sexuality. In addition to contraceptives, unplanned pregnancies, sexually transmitted infections, or the use of emergency contraception, we also address questions about identity and sexual orientation.

For its part, the young consultation It is attended by medical and gynecological professionals, and we address issues such as:

  • Advice, choice and dispensation of contraceptives
  • Monitoring and periodic reviews
  • Support for unplanned pregnancies
  • Dispensing emergency contraception (morning after pill)
  • Information on voluntary termination of pregnancy
  • HIV-STI prevention
  • Carrying out serological tests for hepatitis, HIV or syphilis.

he Health Education Program It is aimed at both young people and public and private institutions in the educational, health, community or other fields. We provide prevention, training and information on situations related to the mental health or sexual health of young people, who request us, through advice, workshops or courses, theater forum.

forum theater: Take care of yourself with pleasurepromotion of sexual health and prevention of HIV and other STIs. Aimed at Baccalaureate, 1st Intermediate Training Cycle.

Through an active, participatory, experiential and reflective methodology with groups of young people, topics such as:

  • The understanding and acceptance of one’s own sexuality, as well as the sexualities of other people.
  • Modify myths and erroneous beliefs about sexuality.
  • The ethics of emotional-sexual relationships: consent, shared pleasure, equality, good treatment and sexual health.
  • Recognition of equal rights and potential of people.
  • Self-care and shared responsibility for unplanned pregnancy and Sexually Transmitted Infections. Risk perception and negotiation of the use of protection.
  • Approach to young people in the Young Health Zone as an accessible resource to promote their sexual and mental health.

The Forum Theater allows us to go from a passive state as a mere spectator to our transformation into authors-actors in the theater, and therefore an impulse to promote in daily life attitudes and an experience of sexuality associated with well-being, pleasure and decision-making. . responsible decisions regarding sexual health. The representation is carried out by the group PSIARE (Psychology, Arts and Education).

Specific programs are launched in the face of new social realities and situations of vulnerability. They are aimed at promoting healthy attitudes and behaviors that result in a better quality of life and the prevention of risk situations that can lead to different degrees of social exclusion in the long run.

The age of care in these programs varies according to their objectives, so it may be different from the Young Health Zone.

Currently, as a specific program, we have the Zaragoza Attachment Program (PAZ), which offers support to women during pregnancy and to mothers, fathers or caregivers during the first year of the baby’s life.

In it we offer guidance and strategies to promote the development and well-being of the baby and to strengthen the bond with the children.

Special emphasis is placed on the following areas:

  • Know children’s needs
  • Reflect on the maternal and paternal role.
  • Learn to manage expectations about what caring for a baby entails.
  • Learn self-regulation strategies on a daily basis.
  • Know the principles of positive parenting.

The attachment program is offered in individual, couple and group formats.
