[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Este documento pretende servir de ayuda a los países a reformar su legislación para el fin de las violaciones de los derechos humanos en salud mental y mejorar el acceso de atención para unos servicios de calidad. En especial, el informe hace alusión a las prácticas coercitivas, los tratamientos involuntarios, la violencia física, el maltrato psicológico y las condiciones de vida insalubres. MENTAL HEALTH, HUMAN RIGHTS AND LEGISLATION: GUIDANCE AND PRACTICE

This document aims to help countries reform their legislation to end human rights violations in mental health and improve access to quality services. In particular, the report refers to coercive practices, involuntary treatments, physical violence, psychological abuse and unhealthy living conditions. The publication intends for the signatory States of the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to reform their laws, policies and services that end abuses and promote human rights in mental health care.
