Issue 2 of 2023 of Encuentro Magazine is now available
The publication includes an article on how the climate crisis can affect the mental health of the population and a report on how mental health is addressed in nursing homes.
The second 2023 issue of Encuentro Magazine, which has the support of the ONCE Foundation and the Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030, is now available on the SALUD MENTAL ESPAÑA website. In this new edition, the main report addresses how the climate crisis and global warming are beginning to affect the mental health of the population.
The section «Mental health up to date» is dedicated to the campaigns that SALUD MENTAL ESPAÑA developed on the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day and International LGTBIQ+ Pride Day.
Within the section of news about the confederationThe magazine includes the XXII MENTAL HEALTH SPAIN Congress, the Report on the State of Human Rights in Mental Health (2022) and the Impulso Project.
In the section dedicated to entities, A summary is made of the activity of the First Person Mental Health Committees of the SALUD MENTAL ESPAÑA network.
In section «A day in», we go to nursing homes to analyze how the mental health of this group is treated and denounce the lack of resources.
The philologist and editor Mar García Puig, author of the book «The history of vertebrates», tells in «talking with» your experience with mental health and motherhood. In her publication, she constructs a hybrid narrative between the autobiographical and the stories of numerous women throughout history.
Finally, «The voice of SALUD MENTAL ESPAÑA» This number corresponds to Francisco Rubio Chuan, representative of the First Person Mental Health Committee of SALUD MENTAL ESPAÑA and president of Obertament.
